Let’s Talk about Rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition which principally affects the face. Rosacea worsens with time if left untreated. It is often mistaken for acne or eczema, or some other skin allergy.
Rosacea appears to be more common among fair-skinned people and affects an estimated 5% of Americans. Although the causes are not fully understood and there is no cure, there are a number of ways to relieve symptoms.
Pevonia’s RS2 simple, 3 step skincare regimen helps relieve the signs and symptoms of Rosacea.
It’s primary benefits are to calm skin and reduce redness, dilated capillaries and discomfort caused by Rosacea.
It’s main ingredients are:
Green Tea: healing, anti-irritant, anti-free radicals, anti-bacterial
Chamomile: Calming de-stressing
Allantoin: Healing Desensitizing
Olibanum: (Frankincense): Soothing, anti-bacterial, natural fragrance
French Rose Essential Oil: Calms redness, natural fragrance
To be used morning and night, it’s cooling and hydrating properties will deliver an immediate feeling of comfort and relief.

Do You Know About Snow Burn?
We may have put our swim suits away, but don’t put away your SPF!
The winter sun is still emitting harmful UVA and UVB rays. Fresh snow reflects even more UV radiation than water. The reflection of the snow can cause sunburn and skin irritation-even on cold and cloudy days!
So before you head outside, to the slopes or to build a snowman, remember your SPF…and reapply just as you would in the summer.
Another Winter Skincare Tip…
When relaxing in the tub or shower, keep the water at a warm-not HOT temperature. Frequent hot showers and baths can lead to dry irritated skin. Cooler, lukewarm water will help keep skin hydrated. If your skin appears red following your shower, the water is too HOT!
Microneedling
Microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a minimally invasive treatment to rejuvenate the skin. A device with fine needles creates tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin, which triggers the body to create new collagen and elastin. Once punctures are made, products applied topically (such as hyaluronic acid and vitamin C) are able to penetrate deeper into the skin in order to work more effectively. Results can include improved texture and firmness, as well as a reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks.
If you’ve tried all the creams and magic serums in the world, yet are still looking for an effective way to treat fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars, you might want to try microneedling.
